  1. An interesting technique in these two most recent images, Sean. Very effective, and atmospheric.

    I am currently scanning a number of images taken by my father in New Guinea in 1942. They often appear like this, though without intent!

  3. Thanks... I love old photographs. Ok so this is not old, but I love the look and feel of them. I think perhaps because it reminds me of when I was young...er :) Happy Times :)

  4. The high contrast effect is very effective in focusing on the main subject. Also has the 'old' effect that others refer to; a little sepia tint?
