John, yes he is. The windows he was sketching are on my other blog... I was going to write a reference on here but it would be against my "no writing" policy :)
I like the way he's wrinkling up his nose...that's a sign of an artist at work. I think. Or maybe it itches and he doesn't want to stop what he's doing and scratch?
I am in awe of artists ... able to create a scene out of nothing ... so much more difficult that taking a photograph ... as such I am always fascinated when I see an artist at work and if I had a camera would not resist snapping them either.
I like the shallow depth of field just giving the door way a soft focus so bringing out the main subject; is he sketching?
