  1. Hmmm... what is going on here? Looks like something from a scary movie perhaps, or maybe just a passerby who got in front of your camera.

  2. Leora... perhaps, but either way this is what it took you to comment so perhaps that was the objective? :)

  3. Something 'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy' about this.

  5. A shadowy creature, hiding but not really, he just doesn't want to be discovered for who he really is: Elvis!

  6. Very interesting - it is probably a mall or museum, but my true first impression is a mad people hospital. Her /if it is her/ attire is like those dresses that they tie the sleeves on the back - and the light in the glasses is omnious - and there is nothing around that a person can trip on. Nice marble floor!

  7. I must admit to wussing out on this last night. I thought I would just wait to see what others think!! With that confession off my back ...

I did not notice the strength of the glasses upon first viewing. I liked the lines on the floor (or shadows) and the smallness of the figure in the landscape.

This is like one of those dreams that I sometimes have where I am searching searching searching for the doorway out, all to no avail ... then I wake up.

Sean do you realise that when one clicks to embiggen, the image actually gets smaller? Tres irritating ...

That word "embiggen" is now firmly in my vocabulary - courtesy of Jacob who used it over on Ken's GWV blog, I think. It is a marvellous word for which I thank him very much. I will nip over to his house and tell him so right now.

  8. Because I left this untitled I am not going to say where it was taken, or why... so there!

Julie, I know about the sizing thing and dont know why, but honestly dont really mind because I imagine a photograph would be more difficult to copy. Thanks anyway, it did bother me at one stage...

  9. ... one more thing, I agree it is a little eerie, but if I titled it I would be detracting from the speculation... Ellies comment proves that by not titling it, I run the risk of doing her an injustice...

Enough of the title thing for now... sorry for the eerie photograph, I am going through a phase...

  10. A wise man once said..." I can't see for looking"
what's the point of this photo...is it posted to shock your audience and see how they would react with the beautiful, great, superb, excellent stuff one usually says to be polite...well I say...if you can't see it ain't worth it

  11. Purpose was not to shock, rather to post something a little different and see the perceptions of it. I did not and dont see any "shock" aspect in it... it is merely a lady walking in a shopping mall. Sorry Ellie if my comment came out wrong, was not intended to be taken wrong.
